Founded in 1992, RCK (Ramusevic Cascio & Kaplan) CPAs, PC is the result of collaboration between Mike Cascio and Steve Ramusevic, two good friends who grew up together and attended college at Baruch University. Cascio and Ramusevic were each employed at large CPA firms, Cascio at BDO, and Ramusevic at Deloitte, when they made the decision to go out on their own and form a CPA practice.
A co-worker of Mike's, Doug Mollin, was also working at BDO when he made the decision to leave the firm, planning to start his own financial planning practice. Ultimately, the three men made the leap of faith to share a small office and formed their own partnership.
Eventually, Ken Kaplan came on board as a staff accountant and is a partner of the firm today. Steven Enright merged his practice on the financial planning side. Support staff was added and larger space acquired.
Over the years RCK CPAs has declined numerous offers to combine with larger firms who are aggressive in their marketing efforts to secure clients. Partners in the firm believe in a personal, hands-on approach and the importance of clients feeling secure in the knowledge that their needs are being met by dedicated owners who take a real interest in them. Today our practice is large enough to enjoy substantial success, yet small enough to allow us to engage personally with clients, something that is very important to each one of us.
Because of our dedication to our clients, we continually stay on top of our training and education in order to provide our clients with unsurpassed service. Our continued internal growth and support ensure that no client falls through the cracks.
